Haiti: ultime notizie

I was just to speak to Father Sergio Morotti (in the photo). He called me. Today the put the satelite in our property. The Italian contingent of volunteers will set up a Hospital in our Soccer Field.
There were no deaths nor physical injuries in our group. All the Fathers and Seminarians are doing well.
As far as the structures there was no major damage. Only the chapel suffered some damage. Schools are closed, and they do not know when they will resume. The seminarians were allowed to go home to visit their families. (segue versione italiana)

There are no commercial flights allowed to land in Port of Prince. We have to wait and see when they allowed them to resume.
The conversation was then interrupted.
Let thank God for protecting our Fathers and students and let us pray for those who have lost fathers and seminarians.
I invite you to continue your prayer so that hope will return in Haiti. We also appreciate any help that you may be able to give.

poco tempo fa' ho parlato con il P. Sergio Morotti (nella foto). Mi ha chiamato lui. Oggi ha messo il satellite nella nostra proprietà. Il contingente italiano allestirà l'ospedale nel campo di calcio della nostra casa.
Non ci sono stati morti né feriti nel nostro gruppo. Tutti i padri e i seminaristi stanno bene.
La nostre strutture non hanno subito gravi danni, eccetto che per la cappella, che ha avuto qualche lesione . Le scuole sono chiuse e non si sa quando ricominceranno. I seminaristi sono andati a trovare le loro famiglie.
Non ci sono ancora voli di linea per Haiti. Dobbiamo attendere...
A questo punto la conversazione con P. Sergio si è interrotta.
Ringraziamo il Signore che ha protetto la nostra comunità e preghiamo per coloro che hanno perso padri e seminaristi.
Vi invito a continuare nella preghiera i nostri fratelli affinché la speranza ritorni in Haiti. Vi ringraziamo per tutto l'aiuto che potrete darci.
